These Arabs are thieves, I doubt that positive review is from anyone other than the man himself or his Middle Eastern family or friends, they ripped me off and other Victorians I know of.
Maybe all Arabs aren’t dodgy or liars but this one is, if he wanted to be honest he would not have ditched his old website name and run away to start a new one keeping all the money he stole.
Well done TWT to inform everybody of this deceitful Arab prick, but why put any positive comment when clearly it’s from his family or friends

My order was not processed “due to the chinese new year” My many inquiries about when or if i would receive it were met with broklen promises. After a while my anxiety about losing money and the product contributed to an angina attack for which i was hospitalised for one week. The company apologised for delays etc and gave me the opportunity to cancel the order which i did. In their “wisdom” (????) they still posted the item which i refused. Now they want me to accept the order or pay a 20% restocking fee. i now intend to take further legal action and would appreciate any support out there.

How were you able to contact these people? It’s coming up a month since i’ve ordered my product and not one of my emails have been answered since I deposited the money.. my numerous calls go unanswered, and i’m unable to leave a message due to there being to many already??

    Any help would be appreciated!

It appears that this website is not the right one for leaving comments about dealings with DTC. They don’t appear to have such a facility and we have fallen in to some sort of misconception. I am still having issues with my transaction and I hope that yours has been resolved. If not, try contacting info@dtconline.com.au I too have had no joy with phone contact for the same reasons you have highlighted. If need be send an email to the address above.

I ordered a phone from DTC online on 17th Feb and they have answered a couple of my e-mails, the last saying the phone would be arriving mid last week. I have since tried asking them for a update on delivery and acknowledgement of my mail every day to no avail. What authority can I go to go report this? Sorry, new to Australia.

I am waiting on a order that had been paid for and is ‘according to the company’ “processing” since 17th Feb. I am in the process of lodging my concerns to the Police Fraud Dept and my bank is trying to retrieve money from dtconline account trading under Medina Marketing Solutions Pty in Marrickville NSW. No emails have been answered and I have left several messages with people from an answering service.

Ordered and received a sony ericsson w902, phone possibly was not new, certainly did not work and the charger was from europe and was definitely second hand.
Returned the phone for warranty a month ago and total silence since, no phone number to call, and no response from emails. Currently $305.00 out of pocket and will report this to consumer affairs, I believe my case is not an isolated one.

Make sure that you do report these people to the appropriate authority. I have and have provided all the documentation they have requested. I am confident of a positive outcome.
If you and others keep hounding this mob then perhaps we can save a few other unsuspecting victims of their dealings.
To some $305 might not sound a lot but add mine and no doubt a few others and it will soon add up to something more significant.
It is not the money though but more so the principle. They should not be operating this way and should also be punished for their misdeeds, refusal to respond to communications and general POOR performance.

Dept Fair Trading have asked them to respond and contact me within 7 days and they have ignored all requests so I am going through the tribunal process. Wish there was a way to post something on their web site to warn others (though in reality I should have done more research)

We too have been stung by these morons. We purchased a Sony Ericsson W902 from them, which was supposed to include a 8GB memory card – no card was included. Within minutes of plugging the phone in to charge, the charger blew up, literally in pieces.
Numerous attempts to call, numerous emails to complain. Yep, you guessed it, no response. Finally got a response by posing as a new buyer after a camera lol.
I have reported this mob to the ACCC, and have sent DTC a letter stating so and giving them 14 days to resupply the charger and also send the memory card. They did ask for a link to where it states that the card is included, which I gave. Checked the website today, and guess what? Surprise, surprise….the details of that have gone. Lucky I kept a copy of the website lmfao.
I sympathise with you guys that have not received your phones….we were a little luckier, but still poorly done by.

I have stated to them that I will send an email to all my contacts warning of their dodgy practices based on myexperience with them. I urge you all to do the same, and send an email to info@dtsonline.com to tell them that you are doing so. With evryone working together this way, eventually the word will spread. If you do this, compose the email only on your experience, not that of others to protect yourself against a charge of defamation.
I hope their mothers, their mothers mothers, their sisters, brothers and fathers are infested with the fleas of a thousand camels.
    Good luck all

This was my first time buying something off the internet and i am HUGELY disappointed – I paid for a phone and have not had any contact from these people as to my delivery status, and i have tried emailing, calling, leaving messages…i’m $256 out of pocket – i also wish there was a place to post reviews on their website so that no one else got suckered into this!! I cant even understand how they’re website can still be operating when they are so obviously dodgy… am very upset and put off using the internet to buy anything EVER AGAIN!!

I have the Justice Dept on the case at the moment and have not heard from DTC for ages. Keep up the good work all of you as this set up should not be allowed to continue their activities. They have even threatened me for using this “illegal” website yet as some of you have pointed out they do not have one for feedback. They prefer to ignore issues. If anybody has had any success please let me know but otherwise keep on their backs. Good luck

    John

Unfortunately, I did not read any reviews for this company before purchasing a phone. When the delivery was delayed and my phone calls and emails were not returned, I started to look into them more by reading forums such as this. Obviously I had a very bad feeling that I had just pissed $300+ up the wall!
Luckily, I made payment for the phone through PayPal so I contacted them to report DTC as fraudulent. Because my call was within their 45 day claim period, PayPal were able to refund my monies.
I called their sister marketing company Medina Marketing 6 times a day for nothing else but to hopefully hinder any other sales while I was on the phone to them :) The number I had was 02 9559 5011

Being a teenager our daughter didnt bother to get us to check this fraudulent pack of …. out & didnt do her homework first. We have been chasing them for 3mnths now and with no phone or refund she is now out of pocket for $371. We have lodged this with the ACCC who are apparently doing a indepth investigation on both DTC and Medina marketing. We ring Medina every day and hassle them, if you get Nadelle and she promises you a refund DONT BELIEVE HER! If she tells you she has to wait for her manager to do it…HE DOESNT EXIST! Each person we speak to gives us a different name for the manager and none of them have a surname. We know her money has gone we are determined to do whatever it takes to get these guys prosecuted and closed down!

  17. John N.  •  Jul 8, 2010 @6:54 am

The Justice Dept have also failed to get these people to cooperate and have also had trouble contacting them on occassions. Apparently they have more than my issues with them. I have been advised now to go through VCAT who will make a determination in this matter. The cost for a hearing is $16 which I think is not a lot if they can get these people off the air, although it appears that they have fingers in more than one pie.
Bob is right when he states that certain individuals do not exist. In my case the Justice Dept was able to find the REAL name of the person I had dealt with so I am also hoping that this individual will cop it as well.
Keep at the mongrels until they fall in a hole
